If anything, I believe I am more of a songwriter than a singer-songwriter. But as it happens, sometimes songs don’t want to wait for the perfect singer—they just want to come out. So, there you go…
A home for the songs.
To be honest, I never really thought about creating a website at all. But then you realise that so many old tracks are stored on formats that, sooner or later, you may no longer be able to play. And somehow, the idea of gathering them all in one place began to make sense.
Among them are some very basic demos, even unfinished ones — just ideas. And perhaps, somewhere along the way, someone will find something interesting and get in touch.
Music is an open world… Old tapes, DATs, MiniDiscs and CDs are being checked, transferred and slowly uploaded here. And there will be some new songs too.

From an idea to a recording session.
Through ArtCircleResidence – Europe Connect, Matjaž took part in songwriting workshops in Vizinada, Croatia, followed by recording sessions at Oaktree Studio in Düsseldorf. Songs developed from lyrics by Anna Prinz were taken further with musicians in Düsseldorf, resulting in demo versions of Robot and Turn Around.
